Renovation Complete! Surf Sports Park Upgrades Back Fields To Complete Installation of World-Class Stadium-Quality Premium Bermuda Across Entire Complex
San Diego, CA., May 13, 2026- Surf Sports is proud to announce the completion of its multi-year field renovation project, officially transforming all fields at Surf Sports Park into premium Bermuda grass surfaces used by some of the world’s most iconic professional sports venues.
With the completion of the final phase of renovations on the back fields, every field at Surf Sports Park now features elite Bermuda grass varieties, including Latitude 36 and Tahoma 31, creating one of the premier natural grass soccer facilities in the United States.
The ambitious project was undertaken to elevate the playing experience for every athlete who steps onto the field. Surf Sports Park now offers a consistent, world-class playing surface across the entire complex, providing players with the same quality conditions found at top professional stadiums throughout the United States and around the globe.

Internationally, these surfaces are utilized at top-level soccer venues across Europe, Asia, and beyond.
