Surf Sports Launches Manchester City Cup 2026 for Its Eleventh Year
SAN DIEGO – Surf Sports, in partnership with Manchester City, is proud to announce the return of Manchester City Cup this summer in San Diego. In its eleventh year, this long-standing tournament will be held at Surf Sports Park in Del Mar, CA just 3 miles from the Pacific Ocean. Girls teams will compete August 29-30, while boys teams will compete September 5-7. Registration is now open for boys and girls teams in the U8-U19 age groups!
Manchester City Cup brings world-class teams together from across the nation over the Labor Day holiday weekend, delivering a tournament environment co-branded by one of the top championship teams in the Premier League. Several professional players have competed at this tournament, including Rico Lewis and Nico O’Reilly, current Man City pros who shared their memories about this event playing in the States and the teamwork mentality through wins and losses. For many young athletes, this event provides unique experiences they would otherwise not have, and is an important step along their journey. This year, teams will get the chance to compete against Man City’s U13 Boys Academy team in the tournament.
Last year, Manchester City Cup hosted 500 teams and crowned over 60 champions. Families can enjoy tournament play, live music, and guest appearances from Moonchester and Moonbeam, Manchester City’s beloved mascots. All registration details can be found at https://mancitycup.com/.
Additionally, Surf Sports extends a Premier League opportunity to all players interested in continuing their training with Manchester City Summer Programs from July 26-August 7.
